Anna Marie > An old tree that was cut down in the woods in the back of my yard. I added a sepia tone this shot.
Anna Marie > These two little fellows came up on the grass, while the parents were watching me. They let me get close, but not too close.

Anna Marie > We got hit with more storms late yesterday. Tornado sirens went off, and where was I? I was outside looking for funnel clouds. Yep, I am nuts! LOL! After the storms were over, I took a walk through the neighborhood. This street my son lives on. There is a creek, but it flooded right into the street. I took my shoes off, rolled up my pants and started walking down the road. The water was mid calf length in the street. I haven't seen rain like this in at least 10 years.

Anna Marie > The roses are starting to bloom. Probably due to all that rain we've had. This is the first one in my yard. Not the prettiest of my roses, those are yet to come. These roses grow like weeds. They just keep spreading. I am trying out a new camera I bought yesterday. A Sony DSC-H50. I bought it for a trip to NY, so I wouldn't have to lug around my big ole Olympus. My daughter won a photo contest there, so I am going to the gallery opening. Pretty exciting!
